Low voltage dry shunt capacitor is used for power factor correction of 50Hz or 60Hz low-voltage power system equipment, which can reduce reactive power loss and improve voltage quality.

The element is heated under 10-3 3Bar vacuum condition and the protective gas is injected at the same time. In this way, air and moisture can be discharged from the capacitor, thus avoiding electrode oxidation and partial discharge. Through this complex process and strict factory inspection and quality evaluation, it is ensured that the capacitor has excellent stability and long service life. It can be divided into single-phase and three-phase according to different occasions.

● Rated voltage level (kV): 0.28, 0.4, 0.45, 0.48, 0.525;
● Rated capacity (kvar): 5~40
● Loss tangent (tan δ): ≤0.1%(Un50Hz20°C);
● Interelectrode withstand voltage: 2.15Un5s, no permanent breakdown or flashover;
● Pole case withstand voltage: 2Un+2kV (3kV if lower than 3kV) for 10s, without breakdown or flashover;
● Maximum allowable voltage: 1. When IUn is applied, it shall not exceed 8h every 24h; 1.15Un, not more than 0.5h every 24h; 1.2Un, no more than 300s; Not exceeding 60s when 1.3Un;
● Maximum allowable current: the capacitor can operate for a long time under 1.3In; Considering the influence of overvoltage, positive capacitance deviation and harmonic, the transition current shall not exceed 1.43In;
● Discharge device: the voltage of capacitor drops to below 50V 180s after the power is cut off.
● The altitude shall not exceed 2000 meters (if it is more than 2000 meters, it shall be corrected according to the standard)
● Ambient temperature: - 40~+50C
● The installation site shall be free of violent mechanical vibration, harmful gas and steam, conductive and explosive dust
● The continuous operating voltage is 1.0Un, and the maximum long-term overvoltage does not exceed 1.1Un
● Steady state overcurrent (including harmonic current) shall not exceed 1.35In
