KSVG-SVG series static var generator can compensate the fundamental reactive current, and also can dynamically and timely compensate the harmonic current. The main circuit mainly includes control system, IGBT power converter and filter reactor. SVG first conducts soft start through soft start contactor and soft start resistance, and then increases the capacitor voltage to the rated value through PWM modulation. The DSP controller extracts all harmonic or reactive currents, enabling SVG to absorb or send reactive current that meets the demand, so as to achieve continuous and stepless dynamic reactive compensation.
