Xinjiang Xuantai Environmental Protection Energy Co., Ltd. was registered in the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of the 13th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on January 17, 2020, with a registered capital of 255 million yuan. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinjiang Xuanli Environmental Protection Energy Co., Ltd.

In response to the country's western development and the "the Belt and Road" strategy, a complete industrial chain of coal pyrolysis, gas steam combined cycle power generation, coal tar hydrogenation, and tail gas methanation to synthetic natural gas will be built according to Hami's local resource endowment, ecological carrying capacity, and overall industrial planning. The project of Xinjiang Xuantai Environmental Protection and Energy Co., Ltd. will be constructed in three phases. The first phase of the project is to build a 6 million ton/year low-grade coal utilization device and some supporting public works and auxiliary production facilities; Phase II project: construction of 500000 t/a hazardous waste coal tar upgrading and transformation unit and supporting utilities and auxiliary production facilities; Phase III project: construction of 100000 t/a LNG plant and 50000 t/a needle coke plant as well as supporting utilities and auxiliary production facilities. After the completion of the project, the main products are 3 million tons/year of upgraded coal, 1 # 350000 tons/year of light coal tar, 2 # 130000 tons/year of light coal tar, 100000 tons/year of LNG and 50000 tons/year of needle coke.

The construction and implementation of the project will improve the clean and efficient utilization of coal, further extend the traditional energy industry to the new coal chemical industry and new energy industry, and form a new pattern of clean energy and clean chemical industry based on coal tar. The project mainly adopts the 10KV high-voltage reactive power compensation device of Konstanz Electric Co., Ltd. to provide reactive power compensation for the grid system, reduce line loss, improve power factor, adjust grid voltage, improve power supply quality, and improve the use efficiency of power supply and distribution equipment.
